Metal Trail

The educational path in Mladá Boleslav is called the Metal Trail. It is 7 km long and includes 16 information panels. This trail leads to many historical corners of the city and highlights attractions that are normally hidden from the eyes of tourists. The route also includes a shortened variant intended for children. There is a free Children's Guidebook available in the Škoda Museum and in the city's Tourist Information Centre.
The educational trail is aimed, in an attractive and unusual way, at making the significant buildings and sites in Mladá Boleslav more familiar to both visitors and residents. It is planned for all age groups, categories of tour groups, individuals and schools.

The shortened route includes children’s audio spots and interactive elements.

You can virtually choose your own start and finish at any stop. However, we recommend starting at the Mladá Boleslav Information Centre, where you will also receive a map and the necessary information. You can end your route at the bus and train station. The Metal Trail may also be walked in the opposite direction, starting immediately after arriving in the city.
