Metod Vlach Aviation Museum (Letecké muzeum Metoděje Vlacha)

This Museum houses a unique collection of replicas of both contemporary and historical aircraft, the most popular of which is the replica of Metoděj Vlach's aeroplane. He took off from Mladá Boleslave in 1912 in his self-assembled aircraft.

Most of the aircraft here are still fully functional. Various exhibits may be started up, one can see pilots getting into the cockpits and flying. One can test one's piloting knowledge on flight simulators or try skydiving. The Museum also contains collections of radio stations, aircraft cameras, uniforms, appliances and other aviation equipment.
