The medieval Michalovice Castle (hrad Michalovice) was probably built in the mid-13th century. The dominant part of the ruins is the cylindrical tower whose inclination is even greater than the inclination of the famous leaning Tower of Pisa.
This stone building was called "Putna" (tub) due to its shape. There is a beautiful view from here of the Jizera River valley, which was admired during his visit in 1835 by poet Karel Hynek Mácha, among others. The adjacent Amphitheatre is used for various cultural events. This romantic area overlooking the Castle ruins provides all visitors with an unforgettable experience.
