The Church of the Bohemian Brethren was opened in 1554.
The Church building was designed by Matteo Borgorelli, a Milanese architect. After defeating the Estates Rebellion, the Church was taken off the hands of the Bohemian Brethren and handed over to the Catholic Church in 1624. It was used as the seat of the Museum between 1910 and 1968. Since the reconstruction in the late '70s and early '80s, it has been used for concerts and gallery purposes.
