Metal Trail

Members of the Skating Club (Bruslařský klub) established a natural ice rink for the public. Speed skating and figure skating contests, concerts and carnivals on ice have been held here. In 1904 the first ice hockey match was played here with a ball. Canadian ice hockey with a rubber puck arrived in the city after World War I. The Stadium was covered with a roof in 1973. Later a hotel with restaurant and a second indoor ice rink were added.
