Metal Trail

In those times, this was the largest and most expensive public building in the country. The architect was  Jiří Vendelín Kroha, whose projects mostly contributed to the appearance of the First Republic city of Mladá Boleslav. The sharply defined shapes and rugged mass of the building with protruding segments are eye-catching and interesting even today.

Mini ZOO and Botanical Garden

The Ecocentre Garden is a peaceful natural island in the heart of the city. More than 50 species of domestic, wild and exotic animals and plants from tropical and subtropical regions are housed in the outdoor aviaries and indoor greenhouses of the Mini Zoo. The area includes a rescue station for injured and disabled predators and owls. The premises may be entered from Jaselská Street, through the café serving snacks, tea, coffee and Fair Trade delicacies.
