The second year of the Metal Symposium was held in June 2014 in the premises of the Secondary Technical School in Mladá Boleslav. There were again five artistic sculptors from different countries in Europe and Czech Republic to jointly create sculptures to decorate the town of Mladá Boleslav.
Artistic blacksmiths were making their metal sculptures from Monday, 9 June, to Friday, 13 June 2014. Compared to the previous year, full of raining all day long, the Metal Symposium of 2014 experienced extremely hot weather. The most attractive part of the symposium belonged to Thursday's accompanying program with barbecues of Radio Signal. The symposium was about to finish, so there were many interesting works to be seen under the hands of sculptors. Sculptors were making their works in very individual ways; they projected a variety of local symbols to them.
In the Metal Symposium in 2014 there were artistic sculptors from Belgium, Netherlands, Sweden and Czech Republic. Rik Beuselinck from Belgium created the greatest piece of metal, water fountain called "Ode to the Czech Republic". The statue of Bart Somers from the Netherlands is associated with a sitting bench; you can sit down besides. It has a poetic name "Everyone Loves Butterflies". Swedish sculptor Niklas Fännick created "Young Giraffe" composed of a variety of metal parts and components. The Czech Republic was represented by two artistic blacksmiths, father and son Paul and Thomas Kverkas from Kněžmost near Mladá Boleslav. They take their work "If Someone Says Freedom" a reference to the history of the automotive enterprise called Svoboda whose production was abolished during the communist regime.
