Metal Trail

We were delighted that Vincent Desmeules accepted our invitation to become the sixth participant of the 2015 Metal Symposium. As he had lived for some time in the Czech Republic in the 1990s, he was even able to speak a bit of Czech and used this ability to invite the Symposium visitors to work along with him. He won the Czech audience's favour not only by his cute Czech, but first and foremost by the fact that people could try out some simple forging techniques. It was an unforgettable experience.

As for the material, Vincent Desmeules did not demand anything unusual. His work contains a pedestal. Interestingly, the work moves in the wind and some parts clink. The "Inner World" can be seen in the main corridor of the Claudian hospital.
